Amy Smart
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Amy has lived on the Central Coast since 2006. Amy graduated summa cum laude from Cal Poly SLO with a degree in Earth Sciences and minor in Land Rehabilitation in 2011. While at Cal Poly, she served as officer for the Earth, Soil and Water Conservation Club, received the Environmental Sustainability Award, and conducted research through a grant funded by Caltrans involving rainfall simulation studies and native cover crop establishment. Amy has had many roles at the RCD since 2014. With her on-going commitments to the Central Coast community and myriad volunteer work, she is excited to take on the Office Manager position part-time to help further the RCD's mission.
