Arundo Removal

The Salinas River Watershed Arundo Eradication Program’s goal is to identify and map populations of invasive Arundo and improve overall ecosystem health of the Salinas River through partnerships with landowners, farmers and local agencies, improving habitat for at-risk species, easing water quantity issues, and improving flood control.

This project is funded through the Natural Resource Conservation Service Regional Conservation Partnership Program in partnership with Monterey County Resource Conservation District and through California Department of Agricultures Noxious Weed Program.
